The IB Chinese course focuses on the development of students' written and oral communication skills, and it focuses on Chinese listening, speaking, reading and writing skills.

 

The IB curriculum places great emphasis on the language of students, both first and second languages. IB Chinese is thus divided into Chinese A (first language) and Chinese B (second language).

Chinese A has three courses: Literature, language and literature, literature and performing Arts. Each course is divided into High Level (HL) and Standard Level (SL) for students of different Chinese language levels and backgrounds.
